The AUW 211 Statewide Helpline is a free, confidential service that connects people across Hawaiʻi with the resources they need to navigate difficult times. Whether someone is looking for housing, food assistance, healthcare, financial support, childcare, disaster recovery services, or other essential resources, one call, text, or chat is often the first step toward finding help.

As Hawaiʻi's trusted resource connection network, the AUW 211 Statewide Helpline links individuals and families to more than 1,300 community agencies and 4,000 local programs and services statewide.

When emergencies arise, 211 becomes even more critical. During natural disasters, economic disruptions, and other community-wide crises, the helpline provides timely information, connects residents with available assistance, and helps ensure people know where to turn when they need help most.

Every day, the AUW 211 Statewide Helpline connects hundreds of people to essential resources that help them regain stability and move forward.

In 2025 alone:

99,576 AUW 211 Statewide Helpline total touchpoints
Nearly 39,000 referrals connected people with community resources and support services.
Housing remained the greatest need statewide, followed by food and utility assistance.
Demand for 211 services increased by 20%, reflecting the growing challenges facing local families.
More than one-third of those seeking help were kūpuna, highlighting the increasing need for support among Hawaiʻi's older adults.
